This is my go to tea when I'm not feeling my best. If I'm being honest, this is my go to tea any time;) Ginger is known for lots of health benefits like helping with inflammation, nausea, fighting the common cold and flu, and so much more. I love the strong, spicy flavor of it.

Recipe

  • Roughly a half inch of ginger

  • 2-3 cups of water

  • The juice of one lemon (about 3 T)

Peel the ginger (unless you have baby ginger, then you can skip this step). Add it to a pot with the water. Bring to a boil and allow to keep boiling for about 10 minutes. Add water, ginger, and lemon to a blender. You can drink it like this or strain it if you prefer. I have a pretty strong blender so there really isn't a need to strain. Enjoy it hot or over ice:)
